1. How do I submit my dictation?

We support three modes of dictation.

a) Physicians can call into our toll free number and leave a dictation.

b) Physicians can dictate into Olympus Digital Handheld recorders and then transfer the dictations to us.

c) Physicians can dictate into Palm or Pocket PC or based PDA‘s and transfer the dictations to us.

2. How is the dictation transferred to you?

When using the toll free number, the moment physicians mark a dictation as complete by pressing the appropriate key we would receive it.

When using handhelds either the physician or the hospital/clinic staff would send the audio files using FTP over SSL.

3. What kinds of specialties you handle?


We handle a wide range of specialties like Hematology/Oncology, Neurology, Pulmonary, ENT, General Medicine, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Thoracic and Vascular, Brain & Spinal Surgery, OB/GYN, etc.

4. How do I receive the transcribed notes?

As part of the service, transcribed notes are sent using FTP over SSL (to ensure encryption during transfer)

5. Do you have any security measures in place for transferring of data?

As part of the service we use FTP over SSL and HTTPS to ensure security during transfer, apart from access control by unique username and password.

6. What turnaround times do you offer?

We offer a turnaround time of 12 hours for normal dictation and less than 4 hours for STAT dictation

7. Do you have a quality assurance team? What measures do you take to ensure quality?

Yes, we have a dedicated quality assurance team.

Transcription at Pradot is a three-level process:

  • Transcriptionists transcribe and self-edit the files.
  • Editors edit and proof-read those files with the audio files.
  • QA team checks files randomly as per AAMT guidelines.

We have a dedicated MIS team to capture data to carry out a detailed analysis using the Six Sigma and ISO 9001:2000 methodologies to improve quality on a continuous basis
